As part of Llandovery College - it is situated next to the Sports Pavilion - this par-3 course is mainly used by the students but it is also open to the general public. The parkland course measures just over 2,000 yards, so you definitely won't get the chance to use every club in the bag. There are some interesting holes, though, and this is definitely the type of course to head for if you want to play relatively cheaply without being put under any pressure.

Situated between Llanelli and Swansea in the Millennium Coastal Park - overlooking Carmarthenshire Bay and the Gower Peninsula - the 7,100-yard challenging links-style, par 72 championship golf course enjoys a superb natural setting.

One of the classic Welsh links courses in Carmarthenshire with championship status is the 100 year old Royal Ashburnham it is located at Burry Port, just 3 miles from Llanelli. The Club has hosted many important tournaments including the British Home International Team Championships in 1994.

Carmarthenshire is also the first to bring a unique Nicklaus Design style course to Wales - The Machynys Peninsula. A challenging, links style, par 72 course in a dramatic setting on the Machynys Peninsula on the edge of Carmarthen Bay over looking the Gower Peninsula.
